About Frederiksværk Camping og Vandrehjem
GEORedfyldt is a small, family-run campsite right in the heart of Frederiksværk - and yet you feel immersed in nature the moment you arrive. A historic canal from 1717 runs through the site and continues out to Arresø, Denmark's largest lake, and you can rent one of our canoes and paddle straight out from the campsite. Our name Redfyldt is a little play on words combining Frederiksværk and 'fred' (Danish for peace) - and that's exactly the feeling we want to give our guests. It's calm, green and peaceful here, yet you're only a ten-minute walk from the town centre, shops, the train station and the harbour. We offer cabins, mobile homes, hostel rooms and tent pitches to suit every kind of traveller, along with a function room for parties and celebrations, canoe and kayak rental, and a warm welcome from us as hosts - we live on site, so we're always close by. Whether you're here for a quiet family holiday, a paddling adventure, or a special celebration, we hope you'll feel right at home.
