Ovisola is a campsite discovery platform. We collect as little data as possible and set no tracking or advertising cookies without your consent.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in anonymised form, how the site is used (pages visited, device type, source). IP addresses are anonymised. These cookies are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2). If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed.
Changing your choice
Your choice is stored locally in your browser. If you clear the site data in your browser, the cookie banner appears again and you can choose anew.
No account, no selling of data
You don't need an account. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising. If you click through to a booking partner, that partner's privacy terms apply.
Data sources
Campsite data comes from affiliate partners (including ACSI) and from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Location and amenities are computed and enriched where possible.

What data we process and why
We process as little data as possible: (1) your email address if you sign up for the newsletter or a giveaway — based on your consent; (2) a campsite's business contact address, from public sources, to offer owners a free listing claim — based on our legitimate interest (you can opt out with one click); (3) anonymised usage statistics (pages visited, device type, source) to improve the site; (4) if you make a booking or request: name, contact and stay details, to carry it out — based on the contract.
Retention
We keep data no longer than necessary: newsletter and giveaway data until you unsubscribe; claim contact data until the campsite is claimed or opts out; booking and payment data for as long as legally (e.g. for tax) required; usage statistics limited and aggregated.
Processors and transfers
To run the service we use processors, with whom we have data processing agreements: Supabase (database/hosting), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (security/CDN) and Google Analytics (statistics). We never sell your data. Some processors (such as Google) may process data outside the EEA, under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter or outreach with one click at the bottom of any email. Send a request to [email protected]. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
