via Google“Een heerlijke bestemming voor een dagtrip. We namen de veerboot Tamara vanuit de haven van Schierstein. Het eiland biedt een vakantiesfeer vrijwel direct voor de deur. Er is een klein restaurantje.”
“Een kiosk praktisch op de camping... een heerlijke plek om te vertoeven. Bereikbaar met de kleine veerboot Tamara vanuit Biebrich of Schierstein. Of met de fiets of te voet vanuit Biebrich. Helaas nog niet mogelijk vanuit Mombach. Honden zijn nergens toegestaan in het overstrom…”
