via Google“De bivakplaats Quirl is prachtig gelegen in het bos. Je hoort de weg beneden in het dal een beetje, maar vooral 's nachts is het er volkomen stil. Er is geen hut voor overnachtingen, dus je moet een tent meenemen. We hadden ook voldoende water en een zeer schoon composttoilet.”
“Een prima plek; je kunt er 1 tot 3 tenten opzetten, de resterende ruimte is geschikt voor hangmatten.”

“Er is geen water/drinkwater in de buurt. Tenten kunnen alleen worden opgezet in de voorgeprepareerde nissen, die te klein, schuin en gedeeltelijk gevuld met dikke wortels zijn. Naar onze mening was dit verreweg de slechtste bivakplek van ForstSteig.”
“Prima bivakplek bij Quirl. Composttoilet aanwezig. Ongeveer 5 kampeerplaatsen voor 2 personen (tent) en een schuilplaats. Gelegen vlakbij de weg en aan de Bielabach-beek. Mooie bivakplek.”
