About Camping Trasimeno
GEOCamping Trasimeno opened in 2017 and is passionately and professionally managed by the experienced Posta family. It offers its guests a relaxing holiday with high quality services set in gorgeous lush surroundings. Our guests will find spacious shady pitches for tents, caravans and camper vans. All pitches are provided with water and electricity and also an innovative waste water system (that can be connected to a bathroom camper or simply have waste poured down it). Since 2018 we also have 11 accommodations: 4 Safari Trend Lodges and 7 Mobile Homes (accessible also for people with disabilities). The campsite showers have free hot water and there are also disabled and baby changing facilities. There are 2 swimming pools (including a children's pool with slides) equipped with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and next to the main pool there is also a refreshing cold water Jacuzzi. A short walk through the campsite takes you to our private beach and grassy area where you can relax and take in the beautiful views over the lake. The restaurant offers local and Mediterranean food as well as delicious pizzas. For our more active guests there is a tennis court and five-a-side soccer pitch, an outdoor fitness area and the campsite itself is situated on a cycle path that goes all around the lake. Camping Trasimeno is ideally located to visit the local villages close to the lake such as Castiglione del Lago and Citta della Pieve. We also strongly recommend you take advantage of our location by visiting well-known towns such as Perugia, Siena, Gubbio, Montepulciano and Assisi. Rome and Florence are also easily reached by train or car. The campsite also offers the following services: car park, shop, laundry, fridge rental, BBQ area, playground, table tennis, a bar and a small shop. Pets are also welcome.
