Partner terms for campsites
These partner terms apply between Ovisola and the campsite (the “partner”) that claims, manages or makes its campsite bookable on Ovisola. They supplement the general terms of use; where they conflict regarding the partnership, these partner terms prevail. By claiming or making your campsite bookable via Ovisola you accept these terms.
What Ovisola does
Ovisola is a campsite discovery platform: we show your campsite on the map and on its own page, make it findable on search engines and AI assistants, and facilitate bookings between the guest and you. In doing so Ovisola acts as an intermediary and — where payment is processed through Ovisola — as the collecting party. Ovisola is not itself the provider of the stay and not a party to the accommodation agreement between the guest and the partner.
The partner's responsibilities
The partner is responsible for the accuracy and currency of the data provided and for honouring bookings made via Ovisola:
- Prices, availability, amenities and the cancellation policy are accurate, current and are honoured.
- The partner honours every booking confirmed via Ovisola at the terms and price shown.
- The partner holds all required permits and complies with all legal obligations (including tourist tax, fire safety and registration).
- The partner is entitled to use the texts, photos and videos provided and grants Ovisola the right to display and process them on and for Ovisola.
Collection, commission and payout
For bookings where payment is processed through Ovisola, the partner authorises Ovisola — irrevocably and by way of an express collection mandate — to collect the guest's payment in the name of and for the account of the partner. Ovisola acts as the collecting party and payment agent of the partner. The partner discharges the guest: payment by the guest to Ovisola has discharging effect, so that the guest thereby satisfies its obligation towards the partner and the partner no longer demands payment of the same amount from the guest.
- Collect: Ovisola collects the full booking amount from the guest and holds the collected funds for the account of the partner and, where required, in a separate account.
- Retain: from the collected amount Ovisola retains its commission (the agreed percentage), plus any transaction costs and taxes due.
- Pay out: Ovisola pays out the remainder to the partner to the designated bank account, in accordance with the agreed payout schedule.
- Set off: Ovisola may set off commission, refunds, chargebacks and amounts paid out in error against (future) payouts to the partner.
The agreed commission percentage and payout schedule are set out in the additional arrangements/quote at the time of claiming or making the campsite bookable, and in the (self-billing) statement Ovisola provides per period showing the retained commission and VAT. Ovisola is entitled to have this collection performed by a regulated payment service provider.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds follow the partner's cancellation policy. Where applicable, Ovisola processes refunds to the guest from the collected funds and sets these off against the payout to the partner. On a refund, the commission calculated over that portion lapses pro rata, unless agreed otherwise.
Direct affiliate partnership
If the partner provides its own affiliate feed or deal (a campaign with its own aid), we show “book directly with the campsite” alongside the existing network provider. The terms of the relevant affiliate campaign apply to that direct deal; the collection and payout arrangements above apply to bookings where payment is processed through Ovisola.
Term and termination
The partnership is for an indefinite term and may be terminated by either party in writing (or via the hub) with reasonable notice. Bookings already confirmed are settled after termination in accordance with these terms, including collection, the retention of commission and the payout of the remainder.
Liability and indemnity
Ovisola is not liable for the stay or for damage arising from it; the partner is and remains the provider of the stay. Ovisola's liability is limited to the amount of commission retained on the relevant booking, save for Ovisola's own intent or wilful recklessness. The partner indemnifies Ovisola against claims by guests or third parties relating to the stay or to data provided by the partner.
Data and privacy
Ovisola and the partner process guests' personal data solely to perform the booking, in accordance with the GDPR and Ovisola's privacy statement. The partner does not use guest data for other purposes without a valid legal basis.
Changes and governing law
Ovisola may amend these partner terms; material changes are announced in advance. These terms and the partnership are governed by Dutch law; disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court.
