via Google“Het rangerstation raadde deze plek aan omdat je er direct uitzicht op het meer had. Helaas was het gisteren gesloten toen we aankwamen. :(”
“Een prachtige plek vlakbij Big Bear om naar de sterren te kijken. Het was gemakkelijk te bereiken via een kort stukje onverharde weg. De sterrenhemel was magnifiek!”

“Het is oké. Prachtig uitzicht nu de helft van het bos is afgebrand. De rest van de weg is afgesloten, maar je kunt over de oude weg en een zijpad wandelen. Er zijn meerdere kampeerplekken langs deze weg die niet met gele markeringen zijn aangegeven.”
